OUR MISSION
The Catholic Foundation of Utah was established to strengthen the Catholic Church in Utah and serve both its present and future needs through the promotion of permanent endowed funds.
WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1984, the Catholic Foundation of Utah is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to providing financial support for the Catholic Church and Catholic entities in Utah, today, and in perpetuity.
WHAT WE DO
We help you match your giving with your heart!
- The Catholic Foundation assists donors in creating meaningful, lasting impact through planned giving and charitable family-named endowments.
- We work closely with designated beneficiaries to ensure they understand and can acknowledge each donor’s intentions.
- We manage more than 400 endowments dedicated to providing financial support to our parishes, missions, schools, vocations, social services, and more.
- We continue to grow our endowments with gifts from new and existing donors.
- Gifts, small and large, are combined and invested by our dedicated, professional advisors.
- Each year a portion of the earnings from these investments is distributed to benefit the purposes, organizations, schools, and parishes chosen by the donors.

In honor and observance of his appointment as the 10th Bishop of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, The Most Reverend Oscar A. Solis Endowment was established to provide the care of the Cathedral of the Madeleine, the Mother Church of the diocese, and two efforts to care for the poor and vulnerable through Catholic Community Services and the Cathedral of the Madeleine's Good Samaritan Program.The bishop is so appreciative of all of the faithful's care for the poor and the many donors that help us to create endowments that continue to the charitable work year after year. He remarked, "I want to personally thank you for considering a gift through the Catholic Foundation of Utah. You are in our prayers.
