Yes, then contact the Vicar General and request permission to pursue the project providing the following:
Estimated Cost.
How the ministry will pay for the project.If you will be needing a loan, how much you already have in savings that will be put toward the project. If using D&L funds, please provide the exact account where funds will be drawn upon. If using CFU funds, please give the name of the endowment.
Estimated time frame for completion.
If it is an emergency, please give then reasons. E.g. we a need a new HVAC system before winter arrives or we will have no heat; City ordinance requires us to comply before this deadline date; this is a safety issue that cannot be delayed due to the potential risk of injury.
Indicate whether the Parish Council has been consulted and if there are any concerns by them. Also, indicated if any other committees were erected for this particular project (not usually the case). It is important our pastors work with their parish leadership in addressing significant projects.
Does this project include places and spaces of devotion or worship, whether inside or outside a building?
