Courtesy photo/St. Marguerite SchoolWhat do snow leopards, snails, dogs, the biblical Joseph and his colorful coat, a tortoise, a hare, the Titanic, circus animals and a mouse in a teacup have in common? Each provided inspiration for the 2025-2026 art show at Saint Marguerite Catholic School, and members of the wider community are invited to see this one-of-a-kind art museum. As in the past, students have worked hard to create art pieces full of color, humor, personality, talent, glitter and more glitter. This year, the show organizers have added a special area dedicated to the artist spotlight, which showcases the art of first-grader Evan Jenkins. He has created a robot, walrus, buildings and his favorite subject, the Titanic. The artist spotlight area will allow patrons to witness the journey of the doomed ship through a series of drawings by Jenkins. Other artwork that may touch the heart and bring forth a smile portray Dali’s mustache, surreal animals, critters in a tree fort, monkeys, stupas and a Hanok home. Those attending the show may even meet a few of the budding artists during their visit.
