Larry Del Brown, “LB,” passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026.He was born on May 1, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, to Ferryl and Jack Brown. Larry grew up in the Pacific Northwest and attended school in Seattle. He joined the Army, completed basic training in Georgia and was transferred to Alaska. This began a proud 20-year military career spanning the Army, Colorado Air National Guard, Air Force Reserves, and the Utah Air National Guard Reserves.
Larry’s career was often centered around his love for bowling. He managed several centers in Washington and Colorado for the Brunswick Corporation. While working at Circle Lanes in Colorado Springs, he met Patricia Collins and they were married on December 3, 1988, beginning a nearly 40-year partnership. Larry was an exceptionally talented bowler with several 700 series and a 300 game to his credit.
In 1996, Larry and Pat moved to Utah. Larry began a career with Mortgage Computer, where he implemented and trained customers on their software.
Music was the heartbeat of Larry’s life. He loved all kinds of music. A gifted guitarist, he formed a country band, the "Ridge Runners," in Colorado Springs.  His faith and his music were deeply intertwined; he served as a musician at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Colorado for 15 years and at St. James the Just Catholic Church in Ogden for 25+ years before becoming a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish in South Ogden. 
LB was truly the life of the party – a man of endless jokes, stories, with a genuine warmth and good nature that made everyone feel welcome.  He was a diehard Seattle Seahawks "12th Man,” having been among the very first Seattle Seahawks season ticket holders, and he was thrilled to see them win it all this year.
He was a great cook and famous for his grilled and entrees and his custom-made seasonings.  He made his own beer and wine and got several friends into the craft over the years. He was very proud that he and Pat visited more than 390 microbreweries in their travels. He was also a highly skilled pool player, and could run a table with the best of them.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his step-brother, Stanley Brown.   
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat (PB); his daughters, Laura (Bob) Harding and Monica (Steve) Spence; and his two grandchildren, Alana (Austin) Benson and Braven Spence.
A vigil with rosary was held March 16, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Ogden. The funeral Mass followed on March 17. Interment was at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
