Fr. John Evans is a priest of the Diocese of Salt Lake City.  As Vicar General of the Diocese, he assists the bishop in the administrative, executive and pastoral care of the Diocese. With executive power of the Ordinary he serves as the Chief Operations Officer and Manager for the Diocese, which encompasses the entire State of Utah for the Catholic Church.  Ordained in 2004, Fr. John has served in campus ministry at the University of Oregon, as a parish priest in Los Angels, CA, and at Utah parishes in Layton, Riverton, and Cottonwood Heights. He has most recently served as the Point Person for the Synod of Bishops.  As Moderator of the Curia, Fr. John is the Manager of all employees of the Diocese and most especially of the Chancery and Diocesan Pastoral Center staff where services and support are provided by the Diocesan Directors and their Offices to all parishes, schools and ministries throughout the State of Utah.
