Steven received an MBA from the University of Utah in 2015, and has been working in hospital financial operations for Intermountain Health for the past ten years. Currently he is the Finance Director of Alta View Hospital in Sandy, where he uses skills in business leadership, budgeting and capital planning, as well as his acumen in research and analysis to drive informed decision-making in dynamic environments. Steven loves connecting his analytic skills to important missional values, and he seeks to build community in every circumstance and organization. Prior to his work in healthcare finance, Steven spent seven years as an academic music librarian at Vanderbilt University and Brigham Young University.

Steven is new to and enthusiastic about the Catholic faith. He serves at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Orem, singing in the choirs for the English-language Masses each Sunday, as well as sitting on the parish’s Finance Committee. Steven has been married to his wife Megan for 23 years, and they have twin daughters attending BYU. In whatever spare time he has left these days, he loves singing, long-distance running, road cycling, baking, and spending time with his family.
